I'm looking forward to meeting my grade 7's on the afternoon of Tuesday, September 4th.
At this time, students will receive a welcome back letter, survey and information about our core classes.
Grade 7 students are being asked to pay the school for school supplies. The cost is $30. This will cover all the supplies from pens, pencils, paper and notebooks to pencil crayons, scissors and glue. In addition, I will supply each student with an agenda and a 1" binder (this binder will go home each day with the agenda, any newsletters, forms and/or homework).
Students are being asked to purchase a pencil case and a 2" binder for our Core Class. I would highly recommend "Staples Better 2" Binder" as it doesn't break and the rings lock (so if it falls off a desk all the papers stay inside and in order). These binders sell for $12.15 at regular price but are well worth the cost of having to replace a broken binder once or twice during the year. I use these binders and have done so with heavy use for the past 5 years... same binders! The binders come in a variety of colours (even multicoloured). Of course, you are welcome to purchase any brand/type of 2" binder. However, I ask that you please avoid purchasing a zippered binder.

I would like to organize our binders for our different subjects on Monday, September 10th. It would be appreciated if students have binders in class for that day.
